Yesterday NonBloodBro called me to catch up.  He told me all about his exciting Saturday he has planned and how he was going to the Belmont Stakes to watch Big Brown try to capture the Triple Crown in person.  I love making impulse decisions and I couldn’t think of anything in the world I would rather do this Saturday, so I decided I might as well join him (plus I’m pretty sure I’d regret it for the rest of my life if I passed up this opportunity).  Hopped online found a roundtrip ticket for only $229 and now I got a ridiculous weekend planned.  Heading to New York on Friday at 4:45 for a standard night on the town New York style.  Then Saturday morning hop on a party bus and head to the Belmont to hopefully watch Big Brown become the first horse in 30 years to win the Triple Crown.  Then Sunday catch a matinee Yankees game and head back to Minnesota Sunday evening.   SO FUCKING STOKED FOR THIS WEEKEND.
