I’m obsessed with the video and song give it to me with Timberlake, Timbaland and Nelly Furtado.  What the hell is going on with the three of them?  They keep putting out hit after hit, it’s like they’re a group or something.  I fucking love it though.  And how does that work from a financial situation within the three of them.  In the song Timbaland says that he receives a half a million for every beat.  Does that mean Timberlake pays him that much for each song, I just don’t get it.  I’m sure they all make bajillions on all this stuff but how does the money get delegated.   

And I don’t know if you guys know this, but this song was created pretty much just to piss off Scott Storch because its about him as Timbaland and Storch have hated each other for years..  Scott Storch then responded with this song called Built Like Dat.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1v8mXcAFfY

I’m pretty sure it’s the first time Scott Storch has ever appeared on a track.  But, I’m pretty confused why he used some no name rapper when he’s given beats to tons of people and Timbaland just used two bonafide superstars.  So, the next time you listen to the song ‘Give it to Me’ listen to the lyrics, specifically Timberlake’s part because he’s ripping into Scott Storch.  The two videos aren’t that great, but the lyrics are pretty solid.  I know for some of you this may be fairly common knowledge, but for those that didn’t know, ‘Give it to Me’ will now make sense..
