1) I’m surprised Audrina likes that new apartment she is looking at, it seems like it would be more for a guy, just huge open areas.
2) Spencer, don’t kid yourself, you’re like me, you were just looking for any excuse to go to Vegas.
3) Rather annoying listening to Heidi chime in every 5 seconds with her bosses.
4) Whitney to LC concerning living with Audrina, “how do you not see her that much you live with her?” I’ll answer that one for you Whitney. LC has decided to become attached at the hip with Lo and banished Audrina to the guest house even though there is a 3rd bedroom in the main house.
5) So unfair that all Spencer has to do is jump in his car and drive to Vegas. Talk about a perk of living in California. I loved when he just left the car in the valet area and ditched ShePratt, comical.
6) Why would Brent Bolthouse even offer Heidi a job? Have you ever seen her take her job seriously while she is just hanging out in the office.
7) Very textbook episode so far. Everything we’ve seen was already shown in the previews. Throw me some new material already.
Lauren is too lazy to go out to the guest house to get Audrina, so she just clangs on the bowls. Classy, LC.
9) D got scared by the preview of The Stranger. Haha.
10) Heidi way to stand Brent up after he offered you a job you didn’t deserve. At least have the decency to answer his calls or tell him you’re not going back with him.
11) LC and Audrina’s discussion was one of those where each party says their piece but they don’t really get anywhere. Just saying what needed to be said and hoping they can move on from this. I don’t see it happening as LC became quite offended when Audrina put the blame on Schmo.
12) I did like that double finger ring though LC was wearing during the discussion.
13) BooYaKaShaw texted me a funny thought about the final scene, “I feel like Audrina is trying really hard to make herself cry but she’s just not that good of an actress.” Quite funny and probably true.
14) It’s frustrating they didn’t show Spencer and Heidi working out. Instead they show them fighting and then they just end it with them moving back in together.
Sorry about the short review, there were just so few thoughts tonight because it was an uneventful episode outside of the one big discussion. On the other hand the previews were awesome.
Next Season:
15) LC tries dating a guy for more than one date and he doesn’t appear to be a celebrity. Interesting, will Brody come between this guy before he even has a shot?
16) Audrina stands up to Schmo. Awesome.
17) Whitney gets offered a job in New York. Will she leave? Or more importantly, how does she keep getting hotter. Did you see how good she looked on the aftershow?
18) ShePratt has a huge party and invides both LC and Spencer. Or more importantly shows a ridiculous amount of cleavage at her party.
19) Spencer claims he will disown his sister after her party. Bullshit.
The previews are always such a tease, looking forward to the next season though. This will be the last Hills blog until August. In the meantime check out this new Hills website I gound that always has new Hills news and a clever URL.

I htought the finale sucked BIG time, it wasnt very exciting. I cant stand Lauren and Lo now they are totaly bitches. Hiedi and her bosses…. so fake. Audrina is awesome. SPencer is a stalker and has ZERO class for doing that to heidi. I thought it was totally uncool of shepratt to call hiedi and find out where she was.

I can’t believe Heidi went back with fuckin Spencer. He is soo immature, He knew she was with her bosses and still think it was a good idea to go talk to her. He doesnt have any respect at all. I hate that. Also, how can she just walk away of her job like that!!? AArgh

Re your #4: This is just one example of where the show loses even the illusion of “reality.”
There is never any explanation of why Lo would even want Audrina living with them in the first place, nor are we shown anything that would shed any light on just why Audrina is living in the guest house instead of the 3rd bedroom.
Now after the fact, we do get to hear Audrina make a couple of comments that suggest that she is much more of a “private person” than Lauren or Lo, or at least has become one since the girls moved, because when she lived with Lauren, she did not seem to have any problems living in close quarters with another human being.
So with all respect for “believers” who might read this, and without the intention or desire to disillusion anybody, this whole situation seems to me to have been rather clumsily handled by the producers.
Re #6 Bolthouse has gotten more “placement,” including national TV face time for Brent, than he could have ever dreamed of. It doesn’t really matter what Heidi does or doesn’t do, I imagine from his point of view, having her walk around with a notepad and say “OK” a couple of times is a small price to pay for getting all that free publicity and resulting name recognition.
Considering that a couple of years ago, Bolthouse was just another little event planning concern and today he is flying out to Vegas to hobnob with jet owners and talking about buying a casino, playing Heidi’s boss on TV seems to be working out pretty good for him!

ok Sorry I haven’t commented yet. I’ve been busy at work and now I feel like shit…hhhmmmm wonder why!? hehe Just giving ya shit admin ; )
Despite the fact I can hardly focus on the computer screen here I go with my comments…sorry if they’re weak.
#1) Interesting comment on how it looks like a guys apartment. Although JB totally is brainwashing her Spencer style…it’s creepy. He did most the talking for her in that scene…he always does though.
#2)haha So true. Watching the Vegas scenes made me want to go
#3)obnoxious…like she had anything worthwhile to say.
#4)Audrina so knew from the beginning that she was banished to the back house. Seriously how those girls thought that would work I have no clue.
#5)I SO wish I lived in California! I loved it when he left her! You do realize that his car is probably a stick shift and she didn’t know how to drive it? lol
#6)For very selfish reasons…thats why. And it worked. Brilliant.
#7)What’s with the half hour finale!? There wasn’t anything new in that episode that we didn’t already know about. LAME.
#8) Class Class Class
#9)Horrified. I got the shivers, hid under my blanket and wanted to cry. Cleary I don’t do well with scary movies…I stick to the romantic comedies.
#10)No joke that was seriously the most ridiculous move I have seen yet. Even if the job was fake, take on SOME responsibility and call your “boss” you dumb spoiled bitchy brainwashed blonde.
WHOA…sorry I take that back…I am clearly not in best mood right now.
#11)OMG LC didn’t want to have a discussion, she just wanted to talk and be heard. That was completley ridiculous and childish. Seriously, it doesn’t take a communication studies major to figure this shit out.
#12)Dang I missed it. I was so focused on how long LC’s hair was. I wonder if it was real…I’m thinking extentions. Lucky.
#13) I was thinking the exact same thing. Audrina really just doesn’t give a shit.
#14) That was a really lame way to end the season. They could have easily stretched the episode into an hour with just listening to them argue.
#15) Brody has a way hotter new girlfriend…LC is way off his radar by now. I hope so anyway…he can find way better than her.
#16) Cheers to audrina…I hope she sticks up for herself and stands her ground.
#17) Whitney does look hot and she is SO going to take that job in NYC…as I think she should.
#18) Can’t wait for that…I hope it’s not so lame where Heidi and Spenc walk in and LC and Lo walk out. I wanna see some drama.
#19) Spencer is the scum of the earth. I feel so bad for ShePratt…you get a famous older brother and he is a complete and total asshole!? Lame.
Whoa…I think I commented on every number! That’s a first! go m

Brandi - Glad to see I wasn’t the only one who thought the finale was subpar. And yes Heidi’s bosses were being quite fake.

I will post more on this later….but after watching the finale last night I realized Heidi just threw her career down the toilet for the biggest tool in the U.S.A.

Just because Heidi didn’t fly back to LA with her bosses, it doesn’t mean she gave up her career. I think people forget that MTV only shows you what they want to show you. Half of the time the stuff they show you leads you into a conclusion that is far more dramatic than the reality of the situation.

I agree; however, she stabs people in the back for promotions then doesn’t take her job seriously. she could have at least called brent and told her she wasn’t coming

This show lost the illusion of ‘reality’ long ago. Heidi and Spencer are in every new issue of ‘US Pukely’, being the ‘happy go lucky couple’. Yet, The Hills, has us believing that they’re estranged. And, Heidi ‘working’ at Bolthouse is the biggest crock ever! It’s all for publicity! Who would hire her? Nobody! But, I still watch.
While watching the finale last night, I was more excited about the new shows coming up than I was about ‘The Hills’. The sweet sixteen ‘Exiled’ shows look really good. I might skip ‘The Hills’ and watch those instead.

I think the finale was a decent episode. I think the whole Audrina-Lo-Lauren drama isn’t being portrayed the way it should. Audrina has come out and said she is a “private” person and that Lauren and Lo share all their secrets, clothes, make-up and such and Audrina just isn’t like that - I believe the show chose not to show this but I believe Audrina chose to live in the backhouse instead of choosing the third bedroom because I HIGHLY doubt that Lauren and Lo would make her live out there without her freely choosing that.
As for Lo, I do agree that she is treating Audrina unfairly but I believe she is very intimidated by the relationship Audrina and Lauren have. Lo and Lauren have been best friends since they were little kids which obviously means they have gone through a lot together and have a lot of history, but in a previous episode (i believe in season 2 - news years episode) Lauren tells Audrina that her and Lo barely talked for two years because of an unexplained thing involving Jen Bunney. Audrin and Lauren though they have only been friends for about three years have a very strong bond because Audrina was there for Lauren through all the drama with Heidi and Spencer. Audrina was the one who was there for Lauren in season two when Heidi chose Spencer over Lauren all the time. Audrina was the one who decided to go on Lauren’s side and back her up in the whole Lauren-Heidi-Spencer Drama. And Audrina was the one there comforting Lauren about the whole sex tape scandal. Audrina and Lauren have been friends since Lauren and Heidi came to LA and I believe that Lauren has grown up a lot since leaving Laguna Beach and that Audrina was there to witness Lauren coming of age and was there for all the bumps in the road which was a very pivotal part in Lauren’s life. I believe Lo is intimidated by that because though her and Lauren was obviously best friends, Lo knows Lauren’s past while Audrina has been there and seen who Lauren is now and saw what caused her to be who she is now. I think the show portrays Lo as mean and bitchy but I think everything Lo is doing is purely out of intimidation towards Audrina.
As for the confrontation between Audrina and Lauren. I felt bad for Lauren. Though she was being a bit delusional thinking that it wasnt Lo pushing them apart, she was reaching out to Audrina and Audrina didn’t seem to care too much. I felt bad when Lauren started crying and Audrina didn’t even comfort her. I think that all things will resolve though. There seems to be bad blood between Lo and Audrina but I am sure Lauren will find a way to smooth things over between the roommates. I think they all just need a bonding time. Lo doesnt really know Audrina and Audrina doesn’t really know Lo, they are two totally different people with the only thing they have in common right now (besides living in the same house) is the fact that they are friends with Lauren. I think that’s the problem between the roomates.
Speidi. Just the word itself makes me want to vomit. I hate the two of them with a passion. Heidi is so fake, it makes me sick. She pretends to take her job seriously and then embarrasses herself once again in front of all of North america watching by allowing herself to be manipulated by Spencer. Though I have a lot of hate for her, I was rooting for Heidi’s new-found independance in herself and starting to progress professionally and then she goes and screws it all up. Spencer is probably the biggest asshole I have ever seen grace the television screen. He makes the Grinch look like a new person. Spencer is immature and has no comprehending of social situations. Who just drives to Vegas to find your girlfriend and who on earth treats their own sister that meanly when she is putting a roof over your head and accompanying you on a crazy roadtrip. I like Stephanie and feel bad that she is saddled into being associated with Spencer and Heidi. She needs to stay away from America’s Biggest Loser Couple - it will be the best thing she will ever do.
Whitney- I absolutely ADORE her. She is always the words of wisdom and she has been such a good friend to Lauren. From the promo for season four, she is offered a position in New York and I hope she takes it and I think she will. Whitney is very driven and goes for what she wants and I absolutely love her.
That is my take on The Hills finale and whats to come. I Know the show is getting a bit ridiculous and bordering on completely unrealsitic but its too hard to stop watching it now. You just need to know whats happening in the ridiculous lives of Lauren Conrad and her friends haha.

As an insider, I can confirm that Heidi DOES NOT “work” for Brent Bolthouse or Sam Nazarian (SBE Entertainment). I work for BNC in West Hollywood, and SBE/Brent Bolthouse is one of our clients. It is all for publicity regarding SBE. This is a marketing strategy they are using because The Hills is one of the most popular shows among young people. Heidi, inlcuding the whole Hills crew get paid a nice penny from MTV, and have many other ways of supporting themselves through appearances, fashion lines, endorsements, etc.
FYI Audrina also came to say hi to some mutual friends last night at the Dirt Nasty performance at Opera…she was lookin hot, sure you would appreciate that.
